DC-Linking Inverters and Batteries, and Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Known cases

In a limited number of cases the SmartgridOne Controller has to communicate separately with the battery (or BMS) and the inverter that controls the battery. Known cases where this happens:

  • Some inverters of Sinexcel and EnjoyPower in combination with a Poweroad BMS: The inverters don't have the state of charge of the battery.
  • Multiple Kaco inverters that are connected to a single DC battery: The individual inverters don't have a the correct battery power.

How to proceed

  1. Add the inverter(s), BMS and/or battery separately to the SmartgridOne Controller as standalone devices.
  2. Go to the groups page.
  3. At the bottom of the groups page, if there are dc-linkable inverters, batteries and/or bms systems, they will appear here. You can link the battery or BMS to (all) the inverters it belongs to.
